ReplyDelete1. At first I thought: this has to be satire. After a gander, though, I can't be sure. I don't think it's satire. Or if it is, it's not done as well as brilliant satire. There needs to be some kind of hideous hyperbole that elicits the "turn", that yields a profound re-examination or insight on the part of society. I don't see where that is here. Who is the intended audience?

I threw up a little when I read it. Then I saw that that was actually suggestion #48 so I felt a little better about it.
