Um, Define "Nature," Sir

"A law against nature would be impossible to enforce. Do you think a vote to repeal the law of gravity would do any good?" - Boyd K. Packer, president of the LDS Church's Quorum of Twelve Apostles, in an address to millions of Mormons at their Semiannual General Conference this past Sunday. Boyd was speaking about the dangers (run!) of same-sex marriage. Because, evidently, if you are gay, your existence is not part of nature. Bummer. Look, I'm not into snarking about anyone's religion, and I'm sure Boyd is an upstanding guy, but his rhetoric is pathetic. And, um, is it possible that BK's hostility toward homosexuality might have something to do with that last name of his? I bet there was an awful lot of teasing in middle school, wasn't there, Boyd? Just saying.
